Mission Statement
The mission of the Marine Corps League is to promote the interest and to preserve traditions of the United States Marine Corps; strengthen the fraternity of Marines and their families; serve Marines, FMF Corpsmen, and FMF Chaplains who wear or who have worn the Eagle, Globe and Anchor; and foster the ideals of Americanism and patriotic volunteerism.

We are the Olde English Leatherneck, a proud detachment of the Marine Corps League of York County, South Carolina, made up of Marines, veterans, and supporters- together to live out our mission. Our purpose is rooted in honoring the traditions and values of the United States Marine Corps, but it goes far beyond remembering our own service—we bring that same commitment to our community through charitable outreach programs like Toys for Tots, volunteering at patriotic events that honor those who have served, and providing support and guidance to veterans and their loved ones.
